Narrative
Circa 1115 Gospatric seems to have been a signatory to the Charter of Scone by which the Abbey of Scone was founded. He was created 1st Earl of Dunbar [Scotland] circa 1115. He fought in the Battle of the Standard on 22 August 1138, where he lead his men of Lothian into a defeat by the English and was killed.
