Narrative

Ona was a successful businessman, and owned the Hamlin Grocery in Corbin, a laundromat, service station and some apartments. He and second wife Rhoda lived in an apartment above the grocery when Debbie Hamlin Hinkle (grand-niece) was small. Rhoda was a careful housekeeper and had all her carpets covered with plastic runners, and her couch had a plastic cover. Stupid thing stuck to your legs when you sat down. Visitors had to stay on the runners at all times!
