Bent Moore, aged resident of Athens Route 1, passed away at his home Monday night and funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Holland's Gin Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Rainey was in charge of burial at Scrouge (Mt. Pleasant) Cemetery.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ivy Moore; four sons, Sanford and Wendell Moore of Route 1, Clebert and Sam Moore of Pontiac, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Myron Brown, Pontiac, Mrs. James Black and Mrs. Buddy Belcher, Athens; one brother, John Moore, Elkmont Route 1; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
