Mrs. Jessie Mae Reyer, 89, 808 North Beaty St., died early Sunday morning, October 17, 1978, at her home.
Funeral services are held Tuesday, October 17, at 2 p.m. at the Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens, Alabama with William R. Bullington, Philip E. Broadway and Samuel L. Brown officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mrs. Reyer, daughter of Thomas Alex and Mary Elizabeth Faulkner Shannon and widow of the late Charles C. Reyer, was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Carter (Mavene) Broadway of Elkmont, Mrs Jessie (Roberta) Hamilton of Cullman and Mrs. T. W. (Zell) Price of Cornersville, Tennessee; a sister, Mrs, Fanny Shannon Reyer of Ardmore; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
