Narrative
Per the memories of Jackie Liford:
Myrtle divorced her first husband Roland Ewing, and moved to Michigan. She always wanted to be a city girl, and she left her son Roland Junior for her parents, Ensley and Mary Catherine to raise. She would come to visit and bring her sister Margaret new clothes (flapper style) and Margaret would put them away, never to wear them.
Myrtle died after supper one night from severe stomach cramps. Her sister Margaret believed that her second husband Clayton McKenzie poisoned her, since she had not been sick at all. Margaret said Clayton's daughter-in-law was wearing Myrtle's rings at her funeral. Clayton was quite a bit older than Myrtle.
