Narrative
Geneva's dad called her Pete Dean. She loved apples and there was a cartoon character at the time called Pete Dean the Apple Eater. After graduation from high school, Geneva went to work as a clerk/typist at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, Aug 1951. She met her future husband there, and they married in June of 1952. She quit work in Dec 1952 when they moved to her husband's hometown of Corbin, KY. Later she made a career as a bookkeeper and eventually business manager of Kentucky Country Day School in Louisville, KY.
